“Mountain-biking documentaries are hardly rare, yet rarely do they convey the kind of heightened experience of being alive that the women athletes in “Awesome Land” so clearly feel. Many of the cyclists shown engaging in their extreme sport are past and present champions of women’s downhill racing and related competitions in dirt jumping and free riding. But, on film at least, they spend little time talking about their personal victories, preferring to celebrate their inclusion in an activity gradually gaining respect in a male-dominated field.” – By Tom Keogh Special to The Seattle Times

“As the event promoter for the recent Ray’s Angels Women’s Weekend, I was able to see this video first hand (and purchased my own personal copy) and was motivated, inspired and impressed!

I can’t wait to buy the DVD. The trailer is awesome and I can only imagine what the movie is like. I am used to seeing videos of guys biking but this totally rocks seeing girls participating in all forms of biking. I’m a road cyclist but my boyfriend has been teaching me mountain biking over the past two years. This trailer inspires me to work on and improve my skills. Thanks for making this movie.

“First let me qualify my comments… I’m an old geez of 60, but I live to mountain bike. Watched Women of Dirt tonight…. Fantastic! I’m never fond of the younger generation’s thumping rap style “music.” But I know for your market it is appropriate. But, there were plenty of melodic, artistic segments. Creative cinematography. Emphasis on fun, life, joy… not just crashing down a trail. Simply put, a masterpiece. Congratulations! I hope it sells well and you make a bundle; you’ve earned it. Best wishes.” – John Palmer

Watched the trailer and i immediately ordered the DVD. It is so rare to be able to watch a mountain bike movie that includes women, so the fact that this movie was based solely on women riders was amazing. And the DVD was awesome, it showcased some awesome riders on some kick ass trails. Hopefully this will kick start some future movies that include women riders!

Caught the Santa Cruz premier, it was awesome. We were stoked to finally see a film about girls ripping. Thanks to you guys, it looks like the pump track in our back yard might be bulldozed for a six pack instead. Keep up the good work!

Bought the DVD the day it came out… it’s so awesome to see a film about awesome chicks jumping stuff and kicking ass on mountain bikes. The film got me pumped up to ride… soon as the Utah snow goes away :) Great work!!!
